Okay Stef, so what have you done?!

Dear Stef,
Couldn't help but notice your 320bhp posting on the RSOC bulletin board! Well, what have you done to get the extra gee-gees? Possum, Icon or PE? Just interested to know what route you finally went down....
Lets just hope 21psi isn't too much for YOUR transmission!
LOL

Mike,
I reckon Stef's post on the RS (Silent a and e) board implies he has beaten cossies that have up to 320bhp, so I don't see how you managed to read "I have 320bhp" from it!

Mike.
Moray's absolutely right...I've simply upped the limit from 300 to 320 bhp, 'cos my downpipe makes the car feel soooooooooooo much quicker (even though it probably isn't!).
Still, I guess we'll find out soon.......

Yes it is standard. He does have a weight advantage though (he weighs about 8 stone).
He also clocked 10.8 on the back wheel, start to finish, whipping a Fireblade in the process. Let's hope he's got his nitrous or turbo by then! His terminal speed was 140 from memory. Not bad for 1 wheel drive.
He also clocked 12.28 @ 133mph, round a bend in a crosswind in Guernsey. Suzuki frame, 350cc yammie motor, tuned to the nads. 96bhp & 115kilos. Or that's 835bhp per tonne or 274bhp per
litre. Makes an R1 look rather girlie doesn't it, especially when you consider
that at about 6500rpm it was only making about 20hp. Powerband? I should coco!
Mike
Sorry i can't be more specific i was laughing too much at the fact he was trying to race me. I was in my company Escort 1.6LX at the time!!
I did have an "experience" with an Escort RS Turbo the last time i was on the way home from Santa pod. Most of the front end was cut out to fit an intercooler from Juha Kankunnans WRC Escort. He was running 108ron from his local airfield fuel dump and it was bloody quick. Not very reliable though he said with a claimed 250bhp.

Oops! It's because I tend to ignore "The Cossie Killer" part and read everything else. Just mis-read it has him meaning he had got 320bhp...
My mishtake (bet you wish you had though!).
See you at Santa Pod....

One of your RS "gang", in a Moonstone blue Sierra Cosworth with a dustbin exhaust, passed me last night on the A1 near South Mimms.
I was doing about 95 and he was doing about 50 when i passed him. Next thing i knew he passed me at 120+ and left me for dead.
i haven't seen that particular model for a few years and i thought you might know of him.
Jon
PS Hope to meet you at Santa Pod in Feb. I'm bringing a mate who clocked 10.19 on his bonkers R1.

Jon,
Nope - don't know the car (but then there are about 2,000 monstone blue ones in the country - all with drainpipes!). So can you be a little more specific?!
LOL
Mike
Nick,
R1s never seem that quick on the standing quarter (afterall, lots of other bikes do 10s), until you look at the terminal speed - that's when you go "f*cking hell"!
