Well, i pass the time over the winter i decided to fit an STI TMIC to my V1 but keeping all the V1 bits ( Inlet Manifold, IACV etc )
As far as i can research, ive not seen a JDM with the JDM STI TMIC, ive seen the USDM guys do it but their USDM sti TMIC is smaller hence the mods aren`t as drastic or required
As i say, it was to pass the time and see if it could be done, yeah i could of gone FMIC but didn`t want to.
It doesnt look like much was required to get this to fit, but believe me, every MM counted and were needed, put it this way, to fit the TMIC you have to fit the throttle body AND tmic together at the same time, its like sliding a liner down into a cylinder bore lol , The gasket thickness threw a spanner in the works to start with as i hadnt counted on the 2mm thickness of it !
but hey, its on, running and thats the main thing lol
1st start up after 2 months so ignore the piston slap lol
