The 98 WRX Pure Sports Wagon came in blue.
There was no Wagon V Limited for that model Year AFAIK.

To answer would need more information.

Try putting your VIN or Applied model code into Legacypic.co.uk

and the Applied Model code is?? but its probably just a standard blue WRX STI wagon
For example a 47A "Black Mica" Wagon with the same MGC option code and 830 trim code : "Off Black".
Unless of course your model code is different......

and a 52D blue one

Looking on Legacypics, the option and trim codes seem to be the most common combination with the paint code being third popular.

Unfortunately the "Classic" G10 model section of the Subaru Parts database does not include the Option Code options.
From G11 Newage models it does.

It does but as I said, that info is not listed in the Parts Database for any Classic model imprezas.
As previously posted the two option codes for this model are MGC and MLC, the vast majority being MGC
However from the info on Legacypics, it possibly relates to with/without roof rails and with/without quick steering rack.
