As with all subaru drivers I have gone through the last eight months with a very large grin on my face. I have also joined a club where other people you don't know will wave at you from all kinds of subaru's .
The problem I have is this: I'm slipping into the modding hole that will see me with a road going race car in a few months time. It's started off very small but the devil is growing inside me and I don't think it can be stopped

I hope someone can help get this monkey off my back

There's nout wrong with the slope; I just close my eyes and enjoy the wind blowing in my hair as I slide down the same slippery slope.

Trouble for some, is it's more like a sheer drop

Just think about what a pain in the **** it will be to sell because it's been modified. That usually stops me modifying. Usually.

Guys,
You're missing the point, don't put mods on the credit card. Everytime you fill up take £40 but only put £20-30 in works for me everytime. Mind you it'll take ages to save for anything. But pay for it cash and hide the reciept the evidence has gone. You're safe, the slope awaits and then as you slide down you realise your better half has lined it with razor blades.

Screech, yowl, scream, slice, dice, pain, numbness. As blackness engulfs, you realise it was worth it in the end?????

hehehe

kinda got carried away a bit there!!

The slippery slope **************>>>> ops!!!

I was 20 bought my scooby 11 months ago (95 WRX a good cheapish starting point......)

Ive added up what ive spent on it since i bought it, and ops!! its abit more than i thought, on top of what i payed for it its cost me £8500 in mods!!!!

I only planned for wheels and an exhaust!!!!!!

All good fun though!!!

Cool

RB5 man.

Keep on saying 'that is the very last thing I am going to have done to the car'.

Have been saying the same sentence on a monthly basis for the past 8 months.

The modding monkey hangs on tight. Have tried to shake the little bugger off but has a firm grip.

Only thing that will lose him forever is if you get an Austin Maestro or Montego instead.

The modding monkey will whisper in your ear 'F*** that!' and leap off your back onto the nearest Nova Ned!

Has this advice helped?
