Hi all. New to the forum. Just bought myself a Subaru impreza Wrx 2004. Has a fair few mods, including a blitz nur spec r. I’ve had a few scoobs in the past with the nur spec but this is ridiculously loud. Is there any way of making this quieter and do the bungs work? Thanks

yes bung works

 

Try a resonated centre pipe, bungs aren't the best idea, will create a lot of back pressure. And would have thought reduce power.

maybe its spec S not R
200 will give You other used backbox , with some silencers in centre pipes You could get some droning to the cab
i had invidia N1 3" with bung and noticed no performance drop on acceleration think it was even better with bung fitted

 

just get a smaller exhaust tip and maybe mid section ...the smaller the tail pipe the quiter the sound roughly second hand maybe £200
