People lie, don't give a **** or are just deluded. It's up to the buyer to work out which !

It's very nice to go and look at a car now and again when it's better than described 😃

  • Nearside Rear Outer Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded sill corroded (2.4.A.3)
  • Offside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area excessively corroded significantly reducing structural strength outer sill (5.3.6 (a) (i))
  • Nearside Rear Vehicle structure corroded to the extent that the rigidity of the assembly is significantly reduced hole in end of sill (6.1.1 (c) (i))
  • Nearside Front Vehicle structure corroded to the extent that the rigidity of the assembly is significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i))
  • under vehicle is heavily undersealed in areas in particular n/s/f innersill and o/s/f chassis
So basically everywhere it has previously failed due to corrosion has subsequently been hidden by underseal?

Sounds like a great investment opportunity for someone at only £9k......

People are either living in lah lah lane or managing to sell these cars to people who don't know anything about rusty Subaru's.

That MOT checker is an absolute godsend.

Totally gave up trying to find a uk wrx wagon,as all of them read like horror stories when looking at past Mot's and thought all was lost until i discovered JDM imports.

You're not far wrong, but mine has passed 20 MOTs at the first attempt, so they do exist. There's just fewer of them.

That's some good work to pass 20 Mot's first time.

There was a nice blue uk wagon on autotrader a couple of weeks ago which had only failed one mot due to a split steering rack gaiter but was soon gone.
