"When the car hit the 120kms mark, we decided that it was time to step things up to another level. For the sake of reliability and longevity with the added benefit of more power we pulled the original engine out of the car to begin working on the build.
The core of this new setup would consist of an IAG stage 2.5 closed deck short block, being the heart of the build. The original dual AVCS heads were retained and given new life with the Kelford 264 220-B STI cams and spring kit"
The car ended up making 244kw @20psi on 98 RON. We stopped at this power level as the plan is to now flex fuel the car and go E85 to get to the 300+ Kw mark safely and reliably.
