Default Finally back in an Impreza

Just wanted to drop in and say hi! Been away from here for a while after my last WRX had died due to rust and a blown gearbox now back in a bugeye wrx that I've been playing with over the last few months and it's nearly where I want it to be! Give us a wave if you see me about in the Essex area!

Well so far I'm running a td04 hybrid with a billet wheel (1.5bar boost) sti pink injectors walbro lp255 pump, 3 port boost solenoid, 2" decat up pipe with a japspeed downpipe and cobra non resonated centre section and cobra rear box, mapped by Neil at Slowboy bilstein b14 coilovers and Mtec dimpled/grooved discs all round with brembo pads. Plans over winter are to get the spoiler painted and wheels refurbished.... then probably weigh up what options I have for a bit more power lol. But for the time being just really enjoying being back in a scooby again. Definitely a transformed car since doing all the work and having it mapped though.

No, no dyno printout I'm afraid as Neil road maps but I'd say it's over 300bhp. Definately goes well and the hybrid turbo holds boost right through the rev range. Would be interesting to see what it would make on a dyno

1.5bar is quiet high boost on the Td04. Who built the turbo for you?

I purchased the turbo ready built from someone who decided they were going vf35 so this had done about 500 miles and was at a very reasonable price. It is a 19t hybrid with billet wheel, it peaks at 1.5 bar and holds 1.4 to the redline which is all this particular turbo is capable of. The standard td04l was knackered and was struggling to make 0.9 bar so I decided to upgrade to the hybrid and fit bigger injectors and then had it mapped again. Very happy with it at the moment.
