rear arch repair

Default rear arch repair

hi,

i want to repair rear arches my car(my99 impreza classic)

newer cars have less spot welds, they are mostly bonded with new technology epoxy products

I especially want to use epoxy adhesive on the inner and outer fender joints, both for corrosion resistance and for sealing.

do i need spot welding if i just use epoxy ? Or should we do spot welding from one or two points? epoxy products allow spot welding(like teroson ep 5055)

I'm in the process of having my rear arches done, and will be having them spot welded. Weld looks good so far. Then will respray inside the arch and maybe underseal.

i'll use epoxy primer inside and out, but those epoxy bonders are so good, my friend used his bmw, they also provide corrosion resistance
