Got my car booked in to Prodrive (Kenilworth site) for the PPP next Tuesday. One of the conditions for the group buy discount is that I have to take the car there and back myself - drop off at noon, collect it again at 5pm.
Has anyone any recommendations as to how to pass the time? Any good pubs nearby? How's the train service to/from Birmingham?
I've got a feeling it could be a loooonnnngggg 5 hours, how can I make it pass any quicker?
Andy.

Get a taxi and a couple of cans of spray paint......then go round spraying all the Gatso's down there to prevent you losing your licence when you pick it up at 5pm........

Try get some transport and travel the short journey to Gaydon to the Landrover Heritage Centre. I was there the other week and its packed with great cars such as Tony Ponds TR8, Metro 6R4s and dozens of other similar vehicles. Its a great day out....

I was going to suggest riding a **** horse, but they've moved. Damn.
Incidentally, what on earth is a **** horse? Or don't I want to know.
If you're in Kenilworth, you could enjoy the delights of Kenilworth Castle! And if it snows, you could do far worse than taking a sledge over to Abbey Fields - that's what we used to do in Coventry for entertainment
Nick.

I'll be what help I can here though all recommendations are my personal opinion etc etc
Big hand to Mike for suggesting Gaydon, it is a top place, though under going some restructuring after the change of ownership. The pub at Edge Hill is worth a visit if you go there (the pubs not great, but the view is fantastic and well worth a pint if it's a nice day.
For other pubs in Warwickshire try
