fsti headlight level motor

Default fsti headlight level motor

As above the near side headlight levelling motor has stoped working , it is inside the headlight the lights are standard hid , any body know where a motor can be bought and also importantly can it be fitted with out
taking the light to pieces as it’s been sealed by me due to a leak , any advice please thanks , BPR any thoughts ?

From a thread on the europe forum of subaruforester.org the levelling motor sits just above the ballast and would more than likely need the unit to be dismantled to remove it as it needs to be disconnected from a ball joint on the inner moving element

Hi Don , cheers for the info , i’ve spoken to megazip who don’t seem to list a part, so i’m supposing only option is a new or used light neither of those options being very cheap

yes,of all the individual parts available the motor is not one of them.



You may find that the same motor is used in a facelift UK XT headlight............ might be worth looking out for a damaged one for a transplant.

A pair of used lights now ordered 550£ ouch , but i’m thinking long term as i will keep buying fsti till there none left lol plus i’m running two of them now any way , shame lights on the classics fsti are not the same which is why i sold the classic lights on

Just had son in law bump into fsti , new tail light needed plus bumper re spray it it does not rain in pours lol
