Hi

I have been on the lookout for a, well looked after, low milleage and with the least amount of owners 2005 wide track scooby.

Ideally had a budget of £11k..however this does not seem possible.

Already have a F10 M5..think I just want another scooby..as it has bee many years since I last owned one..

Anyone got and thoughts on the 2 below

Very similar looking cars. Would have to get a close look at the paint work on both but based on pics and spec, I prefer the one from redline.

I may have a white 2005 70k Jdm wide track for sale. Completely standard, only imported 2016 by torque. Mapped for uk fuel fully under sealed all jobs done cambelt etc. Full service history from a specialist.
Its my brothers car, he was contemplating selling as he now has to travel for work, currently uses a works van however they are putting a stop to that do he's looking to get a daily

Here's my 2p worth on that and I dont currently own anad am not looking to buy one.

People thought they were over priced at £8k, 9k and £10k. The bottom line is there is less and less of these every day. Especially with those being broken so in my eyes, i can see them only going one way. Not so long ago it was possible to get these for under £6k... Albeit not in such condition but it was possible.

Two lovely looking cars.

I love total and complete, fully ramped and stamped service history so the PistonHeads one edges it for me.

They will hold value. I bought my 2006 Hawk last year privately for 11K, full PPP, front splitter, 62k mileage , full service history, uprated clutch, decat with new cobra mid pipe. Also came with Private Reg A9 WRX so suits me (aaron) and the car perfectly.

Its a car I've wanted for many years and 5 years ago the same car would have probably only been 8/9k so they are holding and increasing in value. The JDM 2l will demand a higher premium especially if buying for a dealer. I've seen a few over last few months around the 13k mark going with forged engines, so if you can stretch the budget and keep an eye out you could find a forged one
