Could this be rod knock

Iv not noticed it before car drives fine 84k miles 03 jdm sti , it sounds like maybe coming from passengers side

Sound fine, rod knock is usually a dull thumping sound when revved.

No way is that rod knock, I've had rod knock and it's more of a deeper thud than that. Perhaps injectors or small exhaust leak somewhere.

Yer think it's ok it just it sounded louder for some reason iv just been out in it now and it sounded a lot quieter
