Default Impreza Wagon (new age) tow bar

Has anyone fitted one to their blob?

Where did you purchase it from?

I had ordered one from PF Jones but 3 days later I received an email saying they were out of stock so I’m needing to source one elsewhere.

I’m needing to tow the bike trailer and can’t rely on borrowing the sister in laws 4x4 so need one ASAP.

I have a Witter towbar fitted to mine but was supplied and fitted by Keets Towbar systems in Northampton. The actual towbar is detachable from it's socket for when not in use, mine has double plug for caravan.
The whole thing cost £335 fitted in 2010. Witter have a good rep and very pleased with mine.

I'm fairly sure it was a detachable Witter I fitted to the wife's Legacy a few years ago and I was happy with it.

If you're fitting it yourself you might be able to get next day delivery - if you're looking for a fitter (I see you're at Killin) a quick google turned up Highland Trailers who offer a mobile fitting service. I've no experience of them personally, just offering a suggestion.

I've got a Witter one on mine, fitted it myself a few years ago. Used to pull the ex wife's horse trailer with it. They're pretty straight forward to fit and wire up. Mine is the detachable version. Never gets used now, I'd remove it if I could be arsed

There’s a 5-6 week wait for stock so I’ve decided to just leave the order in place and hang fire or borrow a vehicle with a tow bar if needed before then.

The local garage will fit it for me.

I was looking at fitting one to my wagon a while back, and the one I found was the Witter SU24R tow bar A50-X
