Default 2015 sti

hello, so was wanting to tune my sti but was wanting some advice from those with experience with the 2.5 I hear it has reliablity issues with head gasket and ringland failure going on them if I remember correctly, is it worth tuning. Car is completely standard at min also My funds don’t stretch to a 2.35 setup at min but was wanting to aim for 450hp but build the engine first then bolt on likes of intercooler and turbos later. Any advice would be appreciated.

Start off with mapping it. Personally if the car came with a 2.5 stick with a 2.5 but like I said thats my opinion.

If you want 450bhp then you will need to go forged and have 14mm head studs depending on boost. Others have mentioned close decking it (not sure if thats the correct term) but what you could do is buy a used bare block and then buy bits to fit on that.
