so engine light come on and I read the codes it threw up 22 meaning knock sensor now I disconected the battery for 10 mins and started the car..the engine light was off and its been off now for couple days.. I have actually bought a new knock sensor ready to fit

so just waiting to see if it comes back on....

so is this detecting knock or sensor has poo it self.

wonder weather to change the sensor then hmmm

had this a couple of times on my blob when the wife accidentally put 95 ron in it (luckily not a full tank). Went away after a couple of days when I brimmed it with vpower.

I've also seen the knock sensor flag when there was a bolt rattling on top of the block, so check that nothing is loose or tapping.
