Question

My dealer tells me that a new WRX needs servicing every 10k miles and an STi every 7.5k. He says there are 3 levels of service that cost c.£150, £250, and £400. So over 30k miles or 3 years the total service bill would be under a grand.
What Car show the service bill to be £2500.
Who is telling the truth?
How would the STi costs vary, esp if an EU import, I gather the service intervals are different?

The what car figure includes tyres and your dealer is spot on.

Hope this helps.

I know it's in Scotland but my local deal has fixed price servicing on his website so check out alexfnoble.co.uk for prices (but remember scottish labour cheaper)

New MY02 UK Purchased WRX and STI Impreza's have a 10,000 mile service interval. Older cars have a 7500 mile service interval.

However, it's many people's opinion on here that the 10,000 mile service is too long for the STI and most people change the oil at 5000 miles.
