I decided to put my scoobie up for sale as after buying it a few years ago and spending a fortune having it modded, with the intention of doing track days and then not really using it.
I am no salesman and hate selling cars so I just put the spec in the advert, as it is going to take someone looking for a modded car to buy it, thinking anyone interested would just call me for more details.
Today I got this “ enquiry”
obviously I didn’t reply as I don’t see any point in a faceless argument!!!!

Link works on my phone but not laptop. Odd. Just ignore the ********* sending abuse. The add doesn't go into loads of detail but tells enough for a buyer to know if would be interested or not. Good luck with the sale, it's a nice looking car. If you get beat up on price, take the wheels and steering wheel off and sell them (to me) separately

 

Issue with auto trader is it doesn't allow for lines breaks and detail as it bunches it all up. Wouldn't worry about the time wasters. Get it up on pistonheads, I've sold my last 3 cars via it apposed to autotrader or ebay

Advert looks fine, apart from a few more commas and spaced into paragraphs instead of one big pile of words. But thats just me lol

 

I agree, I copied and pasted most of it and it put it on as one mess. Should have checked it!!!

 

Just looked at my ad on a pc. It appears totally different to how I have listed it.
I have edited it but it takes 24hrs for the changes to appear.
Hope it looks ok tomorrow!!!!

 

How bizarre! Car looks lovely with some tasty modifications.

Any genuinely interested folk will see what it is and ask what they want to know.

 

Thats just if i'm being fussy, advert is fine though. Maybe someone you know messing with you?
