Default Help required 1992/93 jap import fuel problem

Hi
I have owned my 1992/93 classic Subaru jap import wrx impresa for r the past 15 years plus it has several modifications which were fitted on buying it and afterwards in all the years I've owned it it had never ever let me down
3 months ago I filled it with unleaded petrol at asda as usual I did brim the tank but used the correct fuel it was running perfect but then on trying to drive away from fuel station the car turned over but would not start it is turning over but would not start ,I had the be towed home
I'm really struggling to find anyone who can help with this have bought a new fuel pump but need it fitting was advised it could be a problem with wiring to fuel pump but as car won't drive can't take it anywhere to get it checked
is there anyone who can please please help I adore this car more than I can express but people see a woman and see money signs lol happy years pay a fair price to get it fixed don't want to sell it love it it's my baby lol
I'm located in salford north Manchester looking for advise or recomemnedatiobs on someone to help get my car back on the road please
thankyou so much xx

Fuel wise used Super unleaded.
When you say towed were all the wheels off the ground?
Can you hear the fuel pump prime before you start the engine?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime, if so it probably isn't that.

Do you have an immobiliser on it

It appeared to be working as in the motor was spinning. But the pump was out of the tank so not sure it was picking up fuel. Need to put voltage direct to the pump then see if it was getting to engine side. If so it's as I thought no power to the pump maybe because of the immobiliser xxx
Well there was definitely no fuel to the engine, which is either pump or no electric on wiring. Voltage was less than 12v should be at least 13v. Simple test is to take voltage direct from battery to pump if fuel then pumping wiring fault. Xx
thats what my brothers said about it
and towed as in pulled by a rope by his car all wheels on the ground
I’ve boyght a new fuel pump but struggling to find someone to come out to fit it

Yes it has an immobiliser on it but all the electrics are firing up fine on the dash and they don’t if immobilisers on

You can gain access to the fuel pump through the boot, lift the boot carpet and youll see 2 covers that are bolted down, its the cover on the drivers side that covers the fuel pump

there is a guide in the link below.

Somebody with a similar problem in the past said there is a 'connector' somewhere under the drivers seat which had a bad connection
