Just did the rolling road 😁
Hi all new to the scooby world and I just did my first rr and was rather surprised tbh made 245.7 Bhp
all it's got done is a fmic 2.5" straight through decat and a hks mushroom filter the chap doing it suggesting getting a boost controller as my boost is up and down a bit what do you guy think? And what else should I do if I wanted to get to 300bhp safely? Tia

sounds like the blokes advice is probably as accurate as his dyno.
Get it mapped, all the air related mods you've done are causing boost spiking, det and probably a load of other issues because theres no fuel compensation.

If you are not careful you will safely see a fubar'd engine. Now a few may come along and say how they run an un-mapped modded car for ages but they are fools. You cannot just plumb in a FMIC to a Subaru and expect it to work properly without some serious tweaking. I know you are new to Subaru's so ask advice before you rush head long into an explosive engine.
:-)
Sadly mate you really are asking for trouble and why a FMIC if you are only looking for 300bhp?

Who the f**k allowed you to rolling road a modded un-mapped car?

And tbf mate this post is about wanting advice from people like yourself in how to get the best from it and what kinda mods I need doing to reach my 300 goal if I wanted a ticking off I would just talk to the mrs about as she hates the dam thing (she is a evo lady) so any helpful advise would be great 👍

You just got the best advice, stop waffling about 300bhp and get it mapped or blow up. It's your choice of course

What hes getting at is the rolling road operator should not have done a power pull on a car that hasn't been mapped for its modifications.
As said the front mount isn't needed for that power but won't do any harm ( when mapped).
The standard td04 turbo is good for around 270-280bhp some have made more but more often than not that's the likely figure.
A vf35 from a new age Sti is probably the cheapest way to get the airflow you need.
A walbro 255 intank pump
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
That should see you, depending on injector duty cycle, 300-330.
I would remove the mushroom filter as well and stick the standard airbox back on with a k&n pannel filter.
