Question Gauges for 04 sti

Evening all,im looking to see what the opinions are on 'Prosport Premium Gauges' are.

I had them a few years ago on my old classic...they were great but my only criticism of then was that they were very bright and didn't dim...
That said, I've learned that some Prosport gauges have a brass or plastic knurled adjuster on the back which alters the brightness, so mine may have been on max..I don't know about the dimming with the dashboard though..Im sure there's a way they can be wired into the dimming circuit..

Thanks for the info,my mate has Defis in his but they are on the pricey side tbh.
I like the idea of being able to switch from White to Amber for night driving,as long as they are wired correctly for it.

I have the prosport evo premium gauges and they're great. Defi's look really dated now in my opinion and stupidly expensive. They daisy chain nicely off each other and you can wire them to dim no problem.

What about totally going the other way and getting a set of VDO Vision or VDO Cockpit gauges..? They do black and white face and have a very simple, clear dial and look more rally car, less road car??
They're not backlit but front lit which gives them a more traditional look..Just a thought..
