Cold air intake help
Looking at both these Mishimito products I'm still non the wiser which to choose. Am I being thick? I've watched both videos.
The one below seems to be the one to go for
http://www.mishimoto.co.uk/subaru-wr...ake-08-14.html
But then this one also seems right. It's cheaper but if you add on the air box to the prices are similar.

The top one sits down in the wheel where as the bottom one site in the engine bay where the oem air box would of been.
To whether sucking the cooler air from the arch will make much different someone else will have to answer that. I've read different opinion because of the air being heated by the turbo then you've got the intercooler to cool it. . I think on a n/a car it makes more of a difference.

The second one has a bigger MAF tube so needs rescaling by a mapper. Obviously both really need mapping. But the second one is designed for people with bigger turbos/maxing out their MAF.
Both of them look nice, but the filters don't look very big. Space is limited in there so maybe that's the best you can do....
