If it's an injector that's sticking open or a seal that's gone then take them out take to an injector specialist and get them sorted, most places have a fast turnaround 24-48hrs if you post them out,or take them to a local place which should be faster.

Are you 100% sure it's an injector ?

I had the bonnet up because it started running sloppy like my foot was to the floor in second up hill and was not moving so I started the engine and went under the bonnet and strait away the 1 at the back on the drivers side I could see the petrol just dropping out if the injector and a awful smell of petrol inside the car like really strong as if some1 had just poored some in I took it out and the rubber seal looks 2 big for it I think it's meant to sit tight around it but just falls off so was wondering if there is owt I can do or somewhere to get a replacement o ring seal that I can just pick up not have to wait a week for delivery of only had the car 3 days so I'm eager to get back out in it

Are you sure its an injector? My 95 WRX had really bad mpg when I first got it, down to a intake kit and a broken MAF. Cost me nearly 200 quid to go 400 miles!

Buy the correct seals from import car parts and fit them, if a ticking time bomb leaving it leaking as the fuels gonna land on the red hot exhaust and eventually set alight.

I got the Bullitt and ordered some from eBay with my reg number also I have just been reading about tuning the engine on this and it says it's best to leave the standard air intake in place and just change to a better panel filter but the car alr3ady has a n&n cone air filter positioned under the bonnet vent with no back plate so the air is Bering sucked strait in to the filter from the vent will this damage the performance and should I maybe think about putting and original factory intake box on if so how hard are they to come by thank you

Well done, that looks really clean. What miles has it done? Or has it had a full respray?

The previous owner had it Sat in a garage for 9 year there is just 1 scratch on back door and it has done 140k but most is km so not actually sure it has been really well looked after and for 1600 I thought it was very cheap so had to snap it up most go for 3k plus in worse condition and other than the air filter it's full standard no mods or any thing

I will only be doing subtle changes like 're doing the tints and maybe a sit spoiler haven't decided on that 1 yet need to get my hands on a original air box and get rid of the k&n 1 before it ruins the engine

To be honest i wouldn't touch it. As it will only go up in price if you look after it. By sit spoiler i guess you mean STI, don't think they suit prefacelift. I'd spend money on looking after it, maybe exhaust change, but i'd go on a rust hunt.

Already have gone on the hunt. well where you would usually find the rust and there is nothing no bubbling paint nothing as far as I can see the under side of the car is near perfect as well off bit of surface here and there but nothing a wire brush and a bit of stone chip paint won't sort and yes I did mean the sti bloody autocorrect. It's just because I just sold a 00 non turbo sport special and it had the full sti kit and I liked the look that's also where I got the alloys from I took them off before sale it did have the same but black and I did not like the black

Ah ok, bet you notice a massive difference in power with WRX. If you want to go down the facelift route i'd sell yours and find a UK turbo myself. But at the end of day its your car and you can do as you wish.

Only had it 4 days mate and only drove it for 1 day because of the fuel leak it's been parked up for 3 days I'm dieing to get out in it to be honest bit I have to wait till the part comes don't want to ruin it but for the little I did get to drive yes massive difference in power and I don't want to do the full facelift I want it to stay stock just think for what the car is the bigger spoiler would be better the stock is just a little small

Think spolier really suits it, i can't talk to much as i have the STI spolier, but mines a UK turbo and has had a full facelift conversion. Did it about 7 years ago, you google prefacelift with STI spolier see if you get what i mean.

As long as you don't do what this guy has you shouldn't go too wrong.

No idea what he was thinking.
I do like the wide arch kit and that spoiler tho.
I think I'm going to keep the look stock is there any subtle power upgrades I can do that don't need to much work my brother is a mechanic so I get my work done for free I just want to get up around 300 bhp it's currently 247 so not too much more but I don't no what I'm talking about that could be thousands of pound worth of mods to get 300bhp for all I know.

Be careful what you do to the engine without mapping it.
That car has probably got a Z4 ecu which is not mappable unless you get a daughterboard (link) or an aftermarket ecu like alcatek/simtek or sysvecs.

Just buy an ESL daughter board, a simple remap should see 280bhp, check what injectors and turbo you have. If you have TD04 turbo and grey 280 injectors, best you will get is 280bhp. But if you have a TD05 and yellow 440 injectors then you should see over 300bhp.

This is my pre-facelift with an STI 6 replica spoiler. To be fair, it was added in 2004 when everyone was doing it!

I have a mid level spoiler, but its expensive to get the boot holes filled in and resprayed.

Car looks nice, but I don't think it suits the spoiler, but as you said everyone was doing it back then. Mines facelifted and everything coloured. My mate has a 1993 wrx and wants to facelift it, I said keep it as it is. But it's up to him.

It goes in the same place as the original recirc valve. You will need a blank to fill the hole in the inlet pipe.
