speak to import car parts , the downpipe to centre pipe will probably need new bolts then just the end of centre pipe to back box gasket , i don't even have a gasket in there and it's been ok

Only one gasket required. Why would down pipe need new bolts?

Unsure. Im guessing the bolts yous are talking about are the ones with the springs at the start if the centre section? Are these liable to be rusted/seized? If so i may order some just for quickness at removal/fitting stage if they need to be cut off etc

I thought your just buying a back box? I'd only get original Subaru parts.

Tried fitting my Prodrive back box yesterday but couldn't unbolt the OEM one off despite soaking in WD40 the day before. Bloody thing was fused together. '07 plate should fare better but prepare for the worst.

Should be easy to get off. Did one on my mates 1993 Impreza. Make sure you use a Hex shape spanner or socket.
