I had a FTO GPX Mivec that had that zorst on. Okay, so not a flat-4 but a small 2.0 V6... But it made a great noise. Loud(ish), but not stupid. It was a 'cultural' lol, melliferous kind of note. I enjoyed it. My peers loved it. However, it may have been the V6's inherent 'woofle' that helped make it sound as good as it was, though.

So, in the absence of a soundclip, if you imagine the above, but underlayed with the flat-4 rumble instead, then you'll get an idea.

Be aware, though... It's only the back-box and tailpipe that are stainless steel. The box's in-pipe and the centre pipe are just mild steel.

My centre pipe was an MOT failure due to excessive corrosion...but had it professionally patch-welded up. It's no biggie, really.
