Default Engine swap help

Hi I'm new to the subaru community but have become instantly addicted.

Now I have a problem with my 2000 subaru 2000 with a highly modified 2005 sti engine garrett concept turbo Roger clark headers , high velocity up pipe . Stainless front mounted intercooler. Viper inlet pipe . Mapped by Bob Rawle. Short shift gearbox and lightened flywheel. Loads more mods as well. But the body and chassis are rotting away. It's already failed it's mot on a list as long as my arm. I am currently looking for a clean shell to hopefully rebuild and make the beast live on.

I've found a cheap non turbo 2001 bugeye wagon with engine trouble.

Now my question is how much of a pain will it be to strip the bugeye and transfer engine loom running gear brakes struts over so I can scrap the old 2000 shell.

Just trying to weigh up whether it's worth doing or should i cut my loses and break her down for parts.

Any help is muchly appreciated thanks

Basically the whole car. Ecu, loom, dash, engine, gearbox, brakes etc etc.

Yeah its a shame to break it. But its my daily drive. So gonna have to cut my loses and start a fresh. Dig out the push bike to commute for a few weeks. As the other project is having the rear axle rebuilt.
