Default Speedo

Hi fitted some jdm sweeping clocks to my 2005 sti been in a while now haven't got round to fitting speedo converter yet to run from km/ to mph so isn't working at all apart from revs... Would this affect cars performance as seems to hitting 5-6k and poping in running alkatek also instead of standard ecu thanks in advance

being jdm it may have the limiter still on , max speed being 112 mph , on ebay you can buy a digital converter that solders into the speedo loom in the engine bay , it's easy to do and not that much to buy , it could be another issue but you don't know till you try

Do you have launch control ecu might not know the cars moving with the new clocks and engaging it.
