Default Does anybody know what these are for?

I was cleaning the car out for the first time since ive had it today. And found a disconnected plug in the boot and a key pad under the electric mirror switches does anybody know what they are for?. It's a 2008 hatchback wrx sti.

The keypad can be activated so the car must have a code entered before it will start ive activated mine incase of house break in and keys taken car will still be there

On another note how are you supposed to secure the floor mats they have holes in the drivers side but no fixings in the carpet.

Yeah i seen it and i does not tell you in the manual how to activate it someone told me in here how to do it and you need the code it should be in the manual in a small packet says only to be opened by dealer and mine have fixings for mats will post photo now

Glad mine came with it cant be doing with mats moving but then again the mats in mine have rubber spikes on so they are really good

Yes mine are genuine ones with the spikes underneath too but it still moves about. There is a guy on ebay breaking one I've messaged him to see if he has it. Thanks for the pics BTW.

I went to town on cleaning stripped the car pretty much lol. I'm thinking maybe it's for a cd changer.
