I'd personally go for a white JDM given the choice.

Insurance shouldn't cost a great deal more.

What JDM hatch is it?

Read this then decide. But for me I would never buy another UK Spec car.

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that the majority of our schemes have no problem covering both imports and Q-plated vehicles.

Kind Regards
Dan

I dont know about the other people on the thread.

I can safely say I was taking the ****, like I do on every thread you spam. Like seriously, do you ever have something constructive to add rather than tout for business? Try becoming a member of the community and you may have more success.

Got to agree with JGV
Every post I see from Dan aka flux is spam/self interest.
Maybe if your 240 posts in over 3 years were a bit more community spirited rather than trying to drum up business then you would earn some respect/reputation?

Hi,

My role on the forums is one to assist members with any queries / questions they have about car insurance which also includes offering our services to try and help members obtain competitive quotations. We are after all a commercial operation.

No one is under any obligation to try us for insurance. We are here though if needed.

I do fully appreciate though that not everyone likes having an insurance company present on their forums.

Regards,
Dan.

In general, with the insurers we use, there is no price difference between UK cars and JDM models. (It's hard to give a ball park figure as the price will depend on a lot of factors)

To save the OP searching - the JDM 2.0 engine is definitely the one to go for, and is petty much bullet proof if looked after properly.

IIRC the UK cars have a 2.5 engine due to emission regulations, but someone with more knowledge may correct me

It is nothing to do witg not liking an insurance company on a forum. It is the way to which you persue the business in a bot like fashion with no positive input to the community.

There are other insurance brokers here who take an active role in the community and contribute in a meaningful way not just touting for business and spamming every thread wether it be insurance related or not.....

Thank you for your feedback, we do not mean to cause offence and if you think we need to change our approach I would take on board any suggestion you have.

If you could PM me examples of how other insurers are taking a more active role I would very much appreciate it.

Kind Regards
Dan

The other Insurer representatives post as members and OWN Subaru's or have done. They can speak about their car experiences, in short they don't tout but we know them and have met them one to one.

Some of the forum members have felt that your product is not very good.

Here's my 20th anniversary STi JDM. Definitely try and get a JDM buddy great cars and a great daily. I've had them all JDM all the way, 2.5 engine hasn't got the greatest reputation tbh

yeah, probably the only car, bar a R205, that I would swap my spec C hatch for. To the Op, go for it, there's a white hatch for sale in Bristol.
