2000 Impreza RX 2.0 Misfiring Cylinder #4
Hi there everyone
I'm new to the forum and would like to ask for some assistance as i bought my first Subaru this weekend (R20 000 - 1300 euro), needs a little bit of attention on the exterior and interior, as well as mechanical parts.
Below 2000 rpm, it doesn't have power and wouldn't move much (misfiring) until i ref it a bit to get past the misfiring on 2000rpm, also doesn't have that much power as before as this was my friends car, what i have notices is that cylinder #4 plug lead on the coil pack it leaking, plugs, leads and coil pack was replaced but problem persist,
Found this video on youtube and this is exactly the same issue i am having
"link missing"
Also manage to read up on a post which the guy mentioned that it might be an intake leakage which can be fixed, (compression issue)
PS.
The problem started after the mechanics skimmed the head and installed a new thermostat sensor as well as a new radiator... presume it overheated (clueless)
Cheers everyone
