Question

Before I rush in and start to unscrew & pull things apart - does anybody have any first hand knowledge of removing the spoiler - There appears to be two bolts holding it in place - one is accessible - the other isn't... any suggestions...

Removes dead easy. Took mine of to fit a brake light, I have one of the earlier ones. Found one bolt on each side a bit tricky but no problems.

Thanks Jamie, the reason I ask is because if you lift the spoiler slightly away from the boot there appears to be two bolts each side holding it on, not just the one that is visible from inside the boot...

Thumbs up

You've found the 1st 2 nuts and the other 2 are under the 2 rubber bungs either side of the boot lid (inside)

cheers guys - so the secret is in the bungs...Do they just pull off - or is a bit of brut force needed.

Pull and twist the bungs out. Once you've done the swap, it's just a case of pushing the bungs back in. You might need to give 'em a bit of a wiggle whilst pushing them back in.
