Probably as you are increasing the space yout oil is occupying. Also remember that they can be a pain to drain on an oil change depending on were it is mounted.

Unless you are tracking the car then I wonder why you need one.

Doubt your running enough power to need one, especially a 19 row one

Forged 2.5, current running temps are 85-95 normal and 100-110 with spirited driving. Plan to track the car so wanted to fit the cooler and baffle plate.

mines 6-6.5 litres with as above.
just to consider what water stat you use as with a 71deg my water/oil temps are too low in winter.

Out of curiosity, at what point/temps is a cooler justified?

Future plans include having the engine out, pin the block, refresh bearings and add avcs heads with a possible 450-500 aim.

The car sees some 1/4 mile runs but hasnt been tracked yet until I get the driving dynamics how I want them, so i'm just thinking ahead really and putting parts aside when they come along.

When you're hitting 120 quickly on track, I have a 25 roe cooler that sits at 100degrees all day long on track, and around 80-100 on road driving
