Default FIA Seat approval

Anyone know if newage STI are FIA approved eg can you safely run harnesses on them?

You can use harnesses with them but not without a harness bar to give you the correct shoulder angle but I wouldn't advise them for road use as they are too restrictive, why FIA?... are you intending to use them for competing, if so dont bother and get a proper seat would be my advice

No they aren't. They'd need to be fixed back for starters.

Was just planning on using a harness bar with my sti 7 seats and wanted to check if I did do a track day or something that they would be ok.
