Default Hesitant Cold Start

Hi guys,

When I've left the car for slightly over a day (cold start), if I don't put a bit of throttle in the car won't fire up like it should. One time it didn't start, until I took the key out and did it again, and another it really bogged and struggled to start unless I put a bit of throttle in.

Warm starts this doesn't happen.

Could this be a battery issue? Think it's on its original battery still. Thinking of putting it on a trickle charge overnight to rule out a battery issue. The plugs haven't been changed in about 12-15k miles too, but didn't think it would be this much of an issue. They're getting done next week.

And yes, I am letting the fuel pump start before turning it over completely.

Cheers
Jack
