I think it's a my99 , about 60k on the clock, fair condition, aftermarket wheels and exhaust. It's just got a dirty knock and Im trying to find out a ruff price of what its worth . Thanks
Its not my car as you can prob tell , I'm looking at it for a potential project.

Yeah it's a engine knock, sorry. And its has the roof flap, dccd and whatever other goodies. Ok thanks for the info. The cars in a good general condition so it would be a nice base to work from.

Just gave 3k for a near mint (few dings needs sorting but mint for 17 years old) original apart from exhaust ,,, just had a full service 1999 RA Wrc 555 limited , not all RA's came with the dccd and roof flap as mine doesn't have either of them

Ah ok cheers domino, so what would you say is a fair price ? 1500 - 2k? From what the bloke said the car has just had new rings and valves put in as one was bent . So I take he it got it back fron the garage , cained it about and then ****ed it very shortly afterwards. Would things like that need a run in period? Thanks

It can be hard work reasoning with this bloke , but I'm going to try. I'm looking for a new, used engine to pop in it or prices for a rebuild. Again, any help or prices appreciated

Excellent , cheers guys . I've been speaking to the fella and he thinks it's the knock sensor playing up ? But I'm not so sure as he said it sounds like hes hitting it with a hammer?! I don't know wether a sensor could make it do that or not ? But he is replacing it today and seeing how it goes . Fingers crossed for me it's still broken haha but for him I hope it works

a knock sensor isnt gonna cause engine knock! it oly senses it and warns you if there is (via CEL) sounds like your seller is pretty clueless so id stay well away!

He is clueless , but I'm prepared to take the car for the right price as I'll take it as worst case scenario, New engine jobby. I'll give it a week for him to realise its not a sensor . Hopefully he gets super annoyed and just wants rid
