Default Daft question on exhaust fitment

Hi all , delivery of Invidia down pipe came on Friday , ends in 3" and I'm guessing the mid pipe of the standard exhaust will be 2.5" so what do I do , or not me but my mapper , can or will it fit or do I source a mid section ( might be an idea as there's a huge resonator on mid pipe )
Thanks in advance

You have 2 options. Get a downpipe with a 2.5" flange so it fits onto your middle section or replace your middle section and back box to a 3".

what he said

Worth checking that the downpipe is a full 3" though before you splash out on others. Some downpipes taper down to a 2.5" to join the oem centre section.

Have spoken with Haywood and Scott and they will make a centre section that will meet with dp at 3" and then go to standard to marry up with the back box , yes the Invidia one is def 3" across the exit.
More expense then !!!! At this rate it would of been more sense to get a full q300 system lol

I would go full 3" system if your going to map your Impreza, if not then i'd stick to 2.5" system.

Full 3" system really only needed 400+ and with this one being the 2.5 I won't be risking that until I get the forged pistons and rods. !

My H&S 1 peice fast flow down cat tapers to 2.5 inch, the Invidia Duel N1 cat back is 3 inch, is there a connector that goes between the down pipe 2.5 inch that will marry up with centre section 3 inch ?
