Right chaps, I am thinking of changing my exhaust. The one currently on my car appears to be a Pro R as it has a stamp on it saying Pro R. I have a receipt that shows the value of the Pro R exhaust to be £525 from new.
However, I would like to install a turbo back exhaust system and was wondering if it would be best to keep the Pro R back box as it cost £525 from new, or just selling it and use the money from said sale to replace the whole system?

I couldn't possibly list all of the reasons why not!
I will give one example from my own experience.
A good friend of mine is illiterate, but he is not stupid. However, he did not have the luxury of going to school as he had to look after his mother who was ill and could not look after herself. There was no other person to help him at the time.
Kind of a difficult choice, go to school and learn how to read and write, but let mum fend for herself. Or the opposite.
So you see, its not always so clear cut, not everyone has the opportunities that most do.

You cannot simply decide not to bother with education.

All I know is the lad had no choice.
Anyway, I dont want to turn this into a classic SNet back and forth argument.
People do what they think is right at the time, whatever the consequences.
Keep the peace innit!

This was a long time ago my friend. I dont claim to know what the law states in relation to school attendance. I imagine they were different back then.

I didn't say he was stupid or lazy etc.
I said it genuinely worries me that grown men cannot spell the simplest of words.
I find it shocking.

I think this is going slightly off topic...
But in regards to Pro R, as someone said above - they are supposed to be good quality. And you actually don't see many cars with genuine Pro-R parts on. It's worth keeping if you want to go for that OEM+ sort of look. If I was looking at a car to buy, I'd definitely lean towards a car with a Pro-R on, as opposed to a generic ninja style loud box.

Have just sold my hawkeye (yesterday) with a pro r center + back box.
Bought it for the wife for christmas before last (seriously, not joking in the least!! She Asked for it!)
Gave the car smidgin more ompf and a bucket load of base noise but didn't give it the classic burble.

I find it just as shocking that people like you jump on the poor guys back because his spelling isn't the best in the world.
Just for your information some people in the world have problems spelling along with a lot of other problems.just thought I would point that out to you as you don't seem to know this
