Default carbon fibre under bonnet bits

anyone got one of the newage carbon fibre alternator covers off ebay or snorkel or any other bits from anywhere ? any good?

CF is so expensive, does nothing for performance in what you're after. If I wanted this effect under the bonnet I would hydro dip - looks the part and a darn sight cheaper I would've thought.

yeah been looking at carbon dipping , but nowhere local is getting back to me, the alt cover on ebay is just under £80 so not too bad.

I'd love to do hydro dipping in my spare time (of which I have plenty).
Just bits of trim to start with. Go down the scrappy and get loads of bits for practice.


The sky is the limit with effects, always found it very interesting.

I've got the snorkel, air box and fuse box cover done, also have the wiper arms done, quality is excellent.

Locky at Hydrotek Custom Coatings is the man you want, he is one of the best carbon dipping places, not sure if he is a member on here, I know he is on a few forums.

Yep dipping is a lot cheaper and you can choose the effect you want

He's at darwen Lancashire top guy takes pride in all his work the rad panel is apr limited edition piece @ £90
