If fitting into a non dccd car, budget another 300 at least for dccd control. Personally for the majority of drivers you wont see much benefit from a dccd box and not worth the premium you pay for them

My STi doesn't have DCCD and I couldn't give a toss, even if it did have it, I wouldn't touch it.

Those that don't have dccd will not miss it however those that do and use it ( I use mine a lot ) would miss it if did not have it. IMO

I don't know. I'd rather have a 6 speed than dccd. The best thing to do would probably take a dccd car for a test drive and see if it is for you.

^ this.

Its not just about lairy sideways, if heading for a track its a worthy investment in my opinion as it makes the steering wheel and pedals get along much better.

My Classic RA has 6 speed dccd with a auto DCCD pro controller. DCCD is a nice to have for sure, I love it. My son on the other hand tries to set it up to behave like a regular subaru. On track its a great tool, not too sure of its worth on a dedicated road car though. Big power and rear wheel bias can get you in trouble on bad surfaces.
