Default Model help

Just seen this on autotrader and can't be sure what model it is - the advert gives little info. From the engine and dash photos it looks like an sti, but I thought the sti's had bigger roof spoilers and side skirts - the photos don't really help...

Is it me or did the STI have a red inlet manifold? this one looks to be normal silver that has been poorly painted red?

Could it be a sport with engine transplant? as the bonnet with the scoop on looks a different shade aswell?

I'm not entirely sure on this. It's 100% deffo NOT a sport, that's a definate.

If it's not an STi, he's gone to some good lengths to disguise it as an STi. The red STi inlet paint often flakes off on older models to be fair. It has the IC, Strutbrace, seats, clocks and a few other bits from an STi so it could be.

Anyone?
