Default Looking to purchase a Litchfield Type 25

Hi All,
There is an amazing community of Scooby enthusiasts here, a community I would very much like to join by becoming the owner of a good car. It has been 10 long years since I owned an Impreza - just a standard WRX but it was unquestionably the best car I have ever owned in terms of being huge fun to drive yet practical.
Lifestyle and economics now allow me to indulge in Scooby ownership once more - I appreciate they are rare but I would be extremely grateful to hear of any good examples of a T25, or a high quality machine which offers similar performance and characteristics.
Thanks all,
Chris

Might be worth a look, I have at 2003 version. I think it is a road and track car rolled into one.

Default Type 25

In response to Crazy Dave's question, a 2006/7 Hawkeye would be my preference but I am guessing that, given the relative scarcity of these magnificent machines, choice will be limited. I think patience is probably the watchword here. Perhaps in the coming weeks someone will mention my post to someone who is thinking of selling a T25 and I'll get a chance to own one.
Whenever and wherever the car comes from, it will be going to a good home!
Best wishes,
Chris

Not wanting to open a can of the proverbial, but it's worth reading up on the 2.5 block if you haven't done so already, before diving in. The hawk has the Cosworth bottom end which is reputed to be stronger, but you'll pay a big premium assuming you can find one at all.

Wink

Having own two LITCHFIELD models a type 20 Hawkeye and a T25 2005 blob 100km. And driven most SUBARU JDM versions from 2003-2012 and all uk versions from 1998 Terzo to 2014sti uk including cosworth CS400

My preference would be a Spec C version on a 2005 blob model but sti Hawkeye is as good.

1st type 25 mk2 Cossie hawk

2nd T20 hawk

3rd CS 2008 cosworth
3rd RA-R Hawk & S205 hawk
3rd T25 mk1 04-05 Partial cosworth
3rd T20 06 spec C

4th T20 05 spec C
4th RB320
4th RA JDM Sti

5th T20 05 STi

6th 05 Sti PPP
6th T20 2003-2004

7th Sti uk PPP 2003-2004

This is my personal opinion and experience driving.

Tony

Ps I own a 2005 T25 full cosworth and a uk 2011 340r

Just bought an 06 blob Sti PPP from Hurst. Fantastic guy and the one I picked up from him is a minter! (touch wood)

Just as a side note, the pictures don't do his cars justice, They're all immaculate!

Is your one the one Jason Plato drove? My one was in Evo magazine when it was a Spec C Limited, it was tested against a P1 a WR1 and a T25. It then got the T25 treatment from Litchfield.
