Default Power Steering whine

Hi guys,

Lately i've noticed my power steering is whining quite a lot and when performing so speed manoeuvre's the steering feels quite juddery. I have replaced the alternator/PAS belt and it still remains, from looking online it appears that the issue could lie with the o-ring for the top hose connector, however i've found 3 different part numbers is anyone able to offer any advice?

The 3 part numbers i've found are
34439FE000
34439FG000
34439FE010

Thanks in advance
Dan

Serious question, have you checked the PAS fluid level? If it's low, it causes the power steering to whine

How long ago did you replace the belt? Did you replace it yourself or was it done professionally? I'm just thinking about tightness etc

First thing i would do is a power steering fluid flush before replacing any parts as half the time this gets over looked

Thanks the part i'm looking at replacing is a £2 o-ring so is something cheap and easy to try especially being a known cause of the issue i'm experience
