I currently use meguires 3 step products step 1 paint cleaner, step 2 polish then step 3 carnuba wax, it's nearly all goner fancy trying something new and I want to give the car a good clean on the weekend so can anyone recommend anything I can pick up local Halford's etc that will give me good results? What can you all recommend. Plus what to use on my alloys to clean and protect them.
I've always used autoglym polish then apply there hd wax and to finish it off autoglym gloss sealant the beading is supreme
The hd wax comes with the applicators and proper cloth to use and the polish comes off effortlessly

Can't imagine it's available at Halfords but I use Swissvax stuff in the summer and then use Gyeon Wet Coat after each wash in the winter. For wheels I recommend Gyeon Rim sealant.

Is it the Samurai wax that you use? Is made especially for Japanese paint finishes & does look pretty good. But you gotta be pretty serious to shell out £75 for some polish.

auto finesse range very good, there tripple all in one is top stuff followed by a coat of illusion. if u can t go for illusion try r222 also good and colinite check out cleanyourcar web site.
Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner for me, have to work it / brush it in. Rinse off well.
I'll then detail with Wonder Wheels (nasty strong stuff) on a micro fibre cloth, but gets all the baked on dust and tar spots off. Rinse off well.
Lastly 2 coats of Poorboys alloy wheel sealant. Job done......blingy wheels!
