Depending on power upgrade then standard Subaru 4 pots that have been refurbed with stainless pistons, seals, rubbers and performance brake fluid would be fine, unless you drive like a complete too everywhere. The BREMBO's and Subaru Newage two piston rears are a much better option than the Wiltwoods.

But remember the wheels may need changing to accommodate the bigger discs and calipers.

Bigger bhp doesn't mean you need bigger brakes.

If you go to 400bhp with your car. You'll still stop the same at 30mph etc as you did having 230bhp

That's fine if your car never leaves the town centre but how likely is that? Why bother increasing the power if you aren't ever going to use it? "With great power comes great responsibility!"

I'm a big fan of AP's too!

Not necessarily no but he doesn't have any AP's, he has a set of 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears so if the discs are big enough I'd fit them over the brembos...and save £3k+ on not having AP's...personally, although i do have AP's on the rear but I didn't pay for them

If they are sat there I'd fit them personally and sell the brembos for £400, dependant on discs etc...

If they are Wilwood Superlites then they don't have dust seals and therefore are not suitable for normal road use. Fine if it's a track toy or hill climbs.
In my opinion the brembo's would be a better option. There is a reason Wilwoods (and K sports) are cheap. You get what you pay for!
