i bought my hatch from them.very easy to deal with.however there was a lack of paperwork with the car.anyways after some digging, turned out i infact got myself a forged hatch which was a bonus.with some expensive mods.

Nice one mate. How did you find out it had been forged?

Says it has had the head gaskets done? Could mean just the gaskets or forged? I'll have to get him to give them a ring methinks!

i asked about on here in the hatch threads.a previous owner contacted me and agreed for the paperwork to be released from the garage.the engine shat itself so was rebuilt with forged pistons by crossroads subaru under warranty.it also had a full miltek turbo back exhaust with sports cat,kw v3 coilovers circa 4k for those alone plus one off 19" oz ultralleggras which were machined for the revolution motorsports demo car.also a forge caik.the car was also mapped by zen performance for these mods.so i had a result.was to refined for me so i shifted it on to another snet member with all the paperwork i sorted for it.when the car was advertised it had no mention of any mods so your mate may get as lucky as i did.ask on the hatch thread mate, worth a try.

That car looks to be a 330s potentially as it has push button start, sat nav and recaro interior tho doesnt have the rear tints so it may just be a well specd sti

Also, it has the more expensive forged bbs alloys and not the cheaper prodrive wheel

I'd ask to see the V5, I'd say its a Euro Import. not a 330s

as no 330s badge on the back, those alloys were standard IIRC on the Euro Premium cars.

saying that you could have them as an optional extra from Subaru.

I'd still want to see paper work before giving any money over

Car does have the 330s seats and push button start (makes you think the seller doesn't really know what they are selling), also if its been rebuilt by under warranty its likely that the same original internals have still been used as replacements and this can potentially suffer the same ringland failure again.
That said - its pretty cheap for a 330s. (just keep 3k in your pocket for another rebuild).

Euro Spec Import Hatch has/had the SatNav, the recaro's, push botton start etc.. LIKE a 330s
Alloys were the better Forged ones too.
But you paid less for one than.

It was a better buy then the standard TypeUK car... but it's still not a 330s as that had the Prodrive tuning too.

If it was euro spec import would the speedo clocks show kmh as main with mph as the secondary inner numbering?

Looks to have std sti backbox on it, another tell tale that it aint a 330s

Wouldn't like to say.

Maybe the reason there looks to be no type UK stickers on the rear quarter glass.
Shouldn't think it'll have the silver Subaru spec sticker on the centre door column saying 330s either.

euro spec runs a normal mph clock set. that's a European premium model.
no power upgrade so not a 330s
