Default Fmic which one.....

I know is more than likely been talked about before just can't make my mind up and don't want to pay perrin prices,, going for a fmic very soon and got 3 in mind,, HDI, Japspeed, or Autobahn88,, got a inner wing induction kit so may need to mod the drives side pipe work,, what's you guys thoughts on the 3?

Yep, all ebay Chinese tat. The HDI one uses a better core but the pipework is still shoddy.

If I ever go front mount again i'll buy a decent core and then make the pipework up myself.

I hated how my hdi pipework came under engine instead of up by radiator

I have a HDI on one car and am going to put a toyosports one on the 2 one and I must say if you are not going for the HDI get a toyosports one as well made mate

The late Harvey reckoned the under engine set up was best as the hot side pipes were out in the air under the car and there were no sharp bends in the pipework.

Japspeed will do the job you're after. It's not exactly complex engineering so the cheaper cores are hardly different from the Perrin, just a little bit harder to fit

Been looking at the mishimoto one looks mint and good for 600bhp,, can get 15% off the price with amberperfomance, ,
The Japspeed group buy thread was 21 pages long so can't be that crap...

Anybody got a newage front bumper picture with a Japspeed fmic fitted?? Under the bonnet pick would be good too...

Nothing wrong with a japseed good piece of kit for the price, if you're going over 500+bhp then would recommend something else.
