Default Type r front bumper

Just bought this type r front bumper but I want to get rid of all the pieces in the way of where the intercooler will sit, what's the best way to go about this without damaging the bumper and still making it look a good standard?

Or shall I just give it to a body shop to do

Hi, sorry to dig up this old thread, but could you tell me where you got that bumper from, or is it secondhand? Thanks
