Default Snap off steering wheel

Hi there thinking of getting a snap off steering wheel boss

But which ones are preffered
Are they ok to use on the road
Where s the place to get one as looked on eBay and they seam to cheap

Etc

not sure on the legality, especially if your car isn't an import and was supplied with an airbag

Had one in my 205 GTi back in the day. Only real problem I found was that my indicator / wiper stalks were a fair reach. As previously mentioned, it would be worth checking out the insurance side of things!

Edited to say I've just seen the previous post so I guess insurance is a non issue

I love my NRG one with an OMP wheel
Comes to bed with me lol,anyone who wants to steal my car best bring their own steering wheel

Always worth checking before shelling out, and make a point of asking the call be logged if they're ok with it. Then there can be no change of story when it comes to declaring the fitted mod

i stuck a cheap one off ebay on mine and its fine, no issues at all. with the bonus of security of taking the wheel off

I've had quite a few and always loved them. Always go for a good branded well engineered make though, no Chinese eBay tat. It's relatively important that your steering wheel doesn't fall off whilst you're driving!
