Make one yourself from a piece of tin and place it between intercooler and existing dumpvalve, that's all you need to do

Why do you want to blank it? Unless you do lightning fast gear changes the charge air is going to give you compressor stall

Probably makes a daft noise.

Why not lean out of the window and shout "Look at MEEEEEEE!!!!"

Amazing, I post something up like this and you think I'm a chav!! You numpty,,, I will be using a V5/V6 to fit a V4. Blanking the dump valve and making a new exit onto the oe V4 dumping system. I was just wondering if someone was making the blanking plates as I don't have the tools to make something up myself and I want something that looks good.

LOL, would have been good to have said that to start with.

There is, available, an adapter that allows that intercooler to be connected to the V4 type dumpvalve...I had one, but sold it with the intercooler when I went FMIC.

It's like a short 90 deg elbow.

PS: you can still lean out and shout "Look at MEEEEE!" if you want. LOL

Lol,, ok I think I have seen one of those elbows before. I can't find any TMIC's that are in good nick at the moment so I'm thinking about going for a Japspeed FMIC kit? Anybody got one of these FMIC's fitted and what's the performance and fitting like regarding pipe work etc?

Mine was fitted by Darren at DLM in Darlington, he used to do most of the work for the late, great Harvey Smith. Darren used to do it for a fixed price, and that included expert carving of the bumper to fit.

Not sure what mine is now, I know Harve had a favourite.

Don't forget the map tweak
