I asked about that when I had my first service too - apparently it's all online. I kept the receipt as a physical record though.

Yes all kept on Subaru's system now, no longer stamps to go in the booklet, just keep your invoices in your service booklet for proof too

Presume there is a way to verify this online service history? say if you are buying one?

Not to my knowledge, it's all in house. you get a print out on each service as proof
